The Class of 2022 Graduates

2022 graduate receiving diploma

On Saturday morning, June 4, 2022, perfect weather greeted faculty, trustees, parents, grandparents, family, and friends as they gathered to celebrate our eighth grade graduates. It was a bittersweet and heart-warming day as the latest eighth grade class officially became alumni.

To begin the ceremony, faculty and staff followed by the graduates processed in and then Reverend Brittany Edwards gave the opening prayer. Lower School Music Teacher Jordan Shaw sang the National Anthem, and Head of School Tim Tinnesz introduced the guest speaker, alumna Mary-Copeland Cain (‘09). Mary-Copeland described how much the St. Timothy’s community has meant to her long after she walked the very same halls, and she encouraged the class of ‘22 to continue to nurture the relationships they have built during their time at St. Timothy’s School.

The award-winning Middle School Chorus sang, and then each graduate was individually recognized with a certificate and a Bible, gifted by St. Timothy’s Church. After the ceremony, a lovely reception was held in the gymnasium.

Congratulations to the St. Timothy’s Class of 2022! We wish our graduates all the best as they move on to new adventures and discover their life’s purpose!Eighth grade parents can view and download more photos from the event on Vidigami.
