St. Timothy’s Summer Camps offer fun and exciting summer programs for rising pre-kindergarteners to rising eighth graders!

Half-day and full-day weekly summer camps run from June 10 through August 9, along with before- and after-camp care* as add-on options. In addition to the camps offered by our own faculty members, we have also partnered with several organizations to bring fun and innovative offerings to our community.

Please note that spots are limited, and some camps fill up quickly.

Join us for a week-long exploration to learn about everything animals! From kangaroos in Australia to sea urchins in the oceans, we will learn about animals and their habitats all over the world. By the end of the week, each camper will also become a certified expert explorer about their own animal of choice and create a masterpiece to share with their families!

Around the World will be focusing on a different place on a different continent for the 5 days. We’d focus on customs, foods, greetings and “polite words” (like “please” or “thank you”), games and songs from the different countries.

Students in the Art of Math camp will explore math in the real world, including nature and art. We will learn about tessellations, math puzzles, tiling, the Fibonacci sequence, geometric art and M.C. Escher, the Golden Ratio, and more. Every student will create pieces of mathematical art, too!

Join our camp and we will help you write and illustrate your own book! We will send your manuscript to a publisher who will bind it and give it a hard cover just like the books you see in a bookstore. To create the illustrations you will be drawing, painting and creating a collage like Eric Carle.

Get ready to learn the game of basketball with emphasis on team play, basic rules, sportsmanship, and drills. We will focus on basketball the first half of the day and other fun games and sports in the afternoons. Dress is appropriate basketball attire, basketball shoes, and a great attitude!

This camp will be available for all levels of skill. We will work on stunts, cheers, tumbling, jumps, and a routine. At the end of the camp we will perform the routine for parents. This camp is a great opportunity for cheerleaders to refine their skills and learn new ones. It will also be a great introduction to the sport of cheerleading.

Who says Christmas only comes once a year! Deck the halls and celebrate Christmas in July with us this summer as we create ornaments, read Christmas and winter themed books, and enjoy fun and festive activities! You’ll almost forget that it’s blazing hot outside!

Ever wonder what the world would be like without color, or why logos are a certain color? During this week-long camp we will be diving into all things colors! From arts projects, to color wars, to learning about how we are influenced by color in our everyday lives, we will take a journey across the globe exploring the different ways color impacts our lives. Join us and add a splash of color to your summer.

Let Crafty Readers foster your child’s love for reading in a fun and creative way! Each day, students will be introduced to a theme that will be explored through several popular children’s books followed by crafts! We’ll even throw in a little learning as we build upon basic reading comprehension and math skills through our activities. All books will be presented through whole group read alouds, so readers of any level are welcome!

Titans…would you like to learn more about decoupage? Do you like creating your own designs and making your own creations? Decoupage is making a HUGE comeback, and we are excited to offer a decoupage camp this summer. We will be decoupaging Christmas ornaments, flower pots, Easter eggs, and more! If you love designing and making your own creations, you will love this camp because you will be able to create and make your very own designs!

Our science based camp will have your camper digging for shark teeth, digging for rocks, and digging for earthworms–in other words, we’ll do a lot of digging at camp! The campers will get really dirty, digging into science. Other activities and/or crafts would include making dinosaur skeletons out of pasta, doing rock rubbings to make sand, and testing if earthworms like or dislike light.

Take an adventure back to the Jurassic Era, where we will learn about dinosaurs who roamed the Earth millions of years ago. Uncover fascinating dinosaur facts and explore the world of dinosaurs in Dinosaur Discovery. You will become a paleontologist faster than Ornithomimids running from T-Rex!

Football camp will be an opportunity for kids to create plays, learn about the sport, and play the game of football. We will spend the morning creating plays in groups, and then have the opportunity to run them in the games! During downtime we will learn about the history of the game, and how all of the rules came to be.

Join Mr. Bogumil for a fun and creative week of Lego robotics using Lego We Do 2.0 kits to create some cool moving Lego contraptions using programming basics.

Students in the Math Refresh camp will participate in engaging activities designed to make their math skills stronger and help avoid the ‘summer slide’. Activities will be differentiated to help each individual student. Students will have fun reviewing material from last year’s course as well as preview their next year course’s content.

All art worth keeping and sharing is messy! In this camp, kids will create works of art with glue, paint, paper, glitter, yarn and clay. Budding artists will complete one project to take home each day as well as work on others that will be completed on the last day of camp. Examples of masterpieces include designed T-shirts, picture frames, clay pots, magnets, masks, puppets and much more.

Do you enjoy investigating and super-sleuthing? Join us for Mystery Madness! Our skilled detectives will spend the week working together to practice their problem-solving skills through decoding puzzles, analyzing clues, solving riddles, and navigating mysterious situations! By the end of the week, we will be able to crack any case!

Attention, all royals and buccaneers! You are invited to a week of fun at our castle and on our ship at sea! From designing our own pirate ships to creating royal accessories adorned with jewels, each day will be filled with Pirate and Princess-themed stories, games, and crafts. We will even have a dress-up day for you to come as a princess, prince, or pirate and a treasure hunt!

Dreams come true at Princess Party Camp – full of all kinds of royal activities. Enjoy a week of singing and dancing along with tea parties, reading and writing about princesses, arts and crafts, and making new friends!

It’s one thing to build something and completely another to dismantle it. In this high-energy camp students will have fun seeing things come apart! Using everyday objects they will create and build rockets, submarines, kites and more. At the end of each day, they test and destroy their creations. Campers leave each day with something they created along with directions on how to replicate the same creation at home using items you find in drawers and cupboards. Breaking stuff is fun but learning how to rebuild it fosters creativity, tenacity and problem solving.

Join Mr. Bogumil for a week of soccer fun. We will play games and run drills that focus on specific soccer skills, and we will also divide players up into small teams to use those skills on the field in a game setting. Great for beginners or those who are soccer curious as well as those who have been playing a few years. The focus will be on having fun with soccer! For rain days or extra hot days, the camp will use the gym.

Each day campers will go on a new adventure by exploring a picture book. Fun and engaging daily centers and activities will encourage learning through play and spark creativity. Campers will also have a blast acting out stories and creating art to go along with the picture book of the day.

Titan Camp has something for everyone at any age! Our most popular crafts are Perler Beads, Diamond painting and Shrinky Dinks! These are combined with fun daily group activities and centers! Let’s not forget Wii play, hide and seek and Krispy Kreme doughnuts! There is plenty of outdoor fun as well.

Campers will learn and strengthen foundational theater skills in a fun and supportive environment. They will build acting skills and confidence while connecting with others who share their interest in theater. Each day will consist of theater games, improvisation techniques, movement and music activities, and an introduction to scene work. At the end of the week, parents will be invited to an informal celebration where campers will have the opportunity to share what they learned throughout the week. This camp is sure to be a hit!
