St. Timothy's students in the classroom

Learning

Learning is a lifelong process. At St. Timothy’s, we instill healthy learning habits from the beginning. We set a formative foundation for a future rich with knowledge and purpose. Our intentional approach allows students to grow through everyday opportunities. We encourage students to ask harder questions, explore their interests, and learn through a lens of both faith and reason. We support students in every moment, big and small, as they develop academically, physically, socially, and spiritually.

Our educational program builds cumulatively. Each year, students take a step further along their individual learning path, supported by the foundation built from previous lessons. Our ultimate goal is for our eighth-grade graduates to leave St. Timothy’s School ready to:

  • Solve problems with diligence and creativity.
  • Embrace faith and reason in pursuit of truth and meaning.
  • Lead healthy lives with joy and gratitude.
  • Treat all people with dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Love and serve God and one another.

Visual and Performing Arts

We believe that the arts play a crucial role in a child’s education. Our arts curriculum encourages both creativity and skill development, with different offerings for all age groups. We hope to cultivate a love of music, theater, and visual arts.

Technology and Design

We offer state-of-the-art technology to students and teach them to learn in an increasingly technological world. St. Timothy’s has a wireless campus and interactive classrooms. Students are introduced to age-appropriate technology in intentional ways culminating in our 1:1 device program for middle schoolers.

Social and Emotional Learning

Social and emotional learning programs teach non-cognitive skills. Specific social and emotional lessons are taught to all grade levels, focusing on self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision making.
