After eighteen months of planning and preparation, St. Timothy’s School seventh grader Coble Adams competed in the 2022 National Gingerbread House Competition. The annual competition was held in November at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville.
From scratch, Coble designed and built a Star Wars-themed house she calls “Santa Yoda and His Baby Elves.” She traveled to Asheville for the competition after months of designing, baking, assembling, and decorating the house.
Coble’s creativity, hard work, and diligence paid off. Not only did she win a specialty award across all divisions for “Pop Culture Star,” but she also won first place in the Youth Division!
All the winners, including Coble, were featured on Food & Wine.
