With more than 85 middle school students taking drama as their art elective, the program is thriving this year.
Drama teacher Amy Murphy-Archer and her students recently put on seven shows at William Peace University’s Kenan Auditorium.
The middle school drama students spent countless hours learning how to deliver a great stage presence–memorizing their lines, putting together creative costumes, and rehearsing the productions. Each show was a resounding success, and we couldn’t be more proud of our hard-working, talented students. Thank you to Mrs. Murphy-Archer for her commitment and leadership, and Mr. Farmer for assisting with the sound board. Special thanks to parent Steve Leach and professional photographer and parent Tyler Cunningham who took pictures of the performances.
