Faith
Inspired by our unique Episcopal School Identity, St. Timothy’s School offers students the opportunity to learn about core Christian beliefs while welcoming all and respecting each family’s individual choices on matters of faith. All students at St. Timothy’s will participate in:
- Weekly Chapel services for Pre-K/K, Grades 1-4, and Grades 5-8 led by our school chaplains
- Daily “virtual” morning prayer broadcast in all classrooms
- Greet the Week, our weekly full-school assembly that includes scripture reflection and prayer
- Periodic additional services and Christian celebrations, such as the Christmas Pageant, Ash Wednesday and Lenten observances, the Easter Hat Parade, and special Holy Eucharist Chapel services
- Religious Studies classes for grades 6-8 that explore Christianity, world religions, and ethics
Additional opportunities are available for children who would like to grow in the Christian faith, such as serving in the Middle School Chapel Guild, joining our STS chapter of FOCUS (Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools), or exploring baptism, confirmation, and other ministry opportunities available through St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.
